Rentals A variety of water craft rentals are available throughout
Meadow Lake Provincial Park. Rentals are also available at
Big Island Cove Resort and

Camping Guide As one of the most popular things to do in this area, there are no shortages of choices of places or degrees of "roughing it". Long weekends in the summer do see campgrounds fill quickly so be sure to arrive early.

Weather / Climate Goodsoil is located in Northern Saskatchewan. It is situated where agricultural and pasture land meets boreal forest. There are many lakes and waterways in the area.
Winter days get as cold as -20°C or colder and in the summer around +20°C or warmer although these temperatures can vary by 10°C or more.
During the summer months, more days are sunny than not on average.
If camping in the summer, be prepared for hot days, cool nights, rain and hail. Also, don't forget the bug spray and sunscreen.

Wildlife
There is a variety of wildlife to see in and around Goodsoil. Big game includes deer, elk, moose, woodland caribou, wolves, lynx and bear.
Smaller mammals include beavers, snowshoe hares, squirrels and voles.
There are also several species of shorebirds, swans, geese, owls and grouse.
Responsible visitors have helped keep wildlife issues to a minimum so remember to store your food and garbage properly and do not approach or feed any wildlife.
